At first, Evi, Reni, Anna and I had to go by train for a couple of hours (it was not that bad though). When we arrived at Zwickau, we had to find our hotel first. We had no idea where to go. Sometime we found the right bus and tram. At the hotel, we met some other Limahl fans. Later we all got ready and headed for the 'Strandbad'. It took us a while to find it but at least we did!

The doors were supposed to open at 6 pm. However, we had to wait for another 45 minutes as Limahl was a bit late for his soundcheck. At least we could listen to it.

The German band Geier Sturzflug was the first to perform. I really liked them, too. They really put everyone into good humour. Then there was a break for one hour (I don't know why though). After the break, another German singer came onto the stage, Ute Freudenberg. She was quite ok, actually. Approx. 20 minutes after Ute's performance the moment we were waiting for the whole evening finally arrived. Limahl's four dancers entered the stage and started to dance. They were absolutely great. Then Limahl entered the stage and performed his first song. After some more songs he went to the audience on the right-hand side of the stage and asked some people to sing the line 'I Just can’t get enough' into the micro. And suddenly, he went over to the left side, stopped right in front of me and held the micro under my nose. SCREAAAAAAAAMMM. In the middle of the line, I got a fit of laughter. Then he turned to Manon and she had to sing the line into the micro, too. He drank from a bottle of German beer on stage. After the show I took this bottle. It's now in my shelf. lol.

After Neverending Story he passed a couple of autographs to the audience. Anna and I managed to get one. When the show was finished we immediately went behind the stage and waited for him with some other people. I had a present for him (a greeting card and a small cuddly pig). After some minutes of waiting and 'Limahl'-shouts he finally arrived. I fluttered with my present on purpose to asked him to come. And indeed, he really came to me first and thanked for the present. I asked if I could take a photo of him. Then I asked I if I could have a photo together with him. He gave my camera to his manager Andreas, laid his arm around me and pulled me close to him. The manager took two photos (again I really look very silly on the photos. lol)

Limahl also asked me if I liked the show. And of course I did. After thisI hugged and cuddled him. Then it was finally the turn for the other fans. I took a couple of photos of him (some probably don't turn well. lol.). After Limahl gave everybody an autograph or a photo he had to leave.

We saw him departing in the car. This was groovy anyway!!!!

After he had left, we all bought something to drink and took a seat. At about 1 am went back to the hotel. Next morning at 11.06 am we had to catch the train home.

All things considered, this was an absolutely fantastic weekend!!
