At about 3.30 pm, my husband Holger and I arrived in Dusseldorf. It took a while until we finally found an empty parking garage. After leaving it we tried to find the meeting point. It was 4 pm and nobody was there yet, as the agreed time was 4.30 pm. First I thought, it wasn't the right meeting point. Little groups around us were forming all along. Then at 4.45 pm we noticed that three nice young women were standing sociably and it seemed they were looking for someone. So I took the initiative and went straight to them. As if it was telepathy, all three of them had the same idea and went to me asking if we were Alex and Holger. Which, of course, we approved.

We got along very well right from the start. We were looking for a pizzera called Pinocchio and as if we had let booked, we found a table for five persons. Everybody was quite interested in the topics of conversation of the other. I learned quite much about Limahl when I asked Steffi, Katja and Betty. It was quite interesting and we also talked about personal things. After having eaten all the tasty pizza and pasta we had another drink, payed the bill and went to the cocktail bar 'MAI TAI'. The cocktails were excellent, even the non-alcoholic ones (which I had to take as I was the one who had to drive back). In between, we took a couple of pics and had very much fun.

It was already 2.30 in the night, when Holger and I were back home. As we lived in Menden, we also had an hour-drive from Dusseldorf. Time really flew. But this is a good sign for a meeting, which means that nobody was really bored. To make a long story short, the meeting was a success. It was a pitty though, that a couple of fans had to call of at short notice (because of illness and work, etc.) I hope I will get to know a couple of more fan club members at the next 'regular's table'-meeting. Hey people, it's really worth it. Come and join us the next time!
