Well, our Limahl Fanclub meeting took place on Saturday September the 24th 2005 in Menden. This is a town situated in the beautiful Sauerland (East of Dortmund). The weather was quite kind to us, but it was not as warm as it had been for the last few days before.

This was the first time that Alan and I were at a Fanclub get together, and we had been looking forward to it for sometime. We found Alex, Betty, Holger, Katja, Steffi and Nadine at about 3 o’clock in the afternoon, in the middle of the town center sitting outside the Café Cappuccino. This was, we found out later, also Nadine’s first time to a Fanclub meeting.

After saying hello to everyone, we sat down outside the Café and enjoyed the warm sun between hot and cold drinks. The conversation covered all sorts of aspects and naturally Limahl was high on the agenda.

We left the Café about 6 o’clock that evening to the direction of Pizzeria Sole Dóro. The walk to the restaurant wasn’t too far, as it is situated only a few streets away from the Café. The table was waiting for us as we arrived, which was good as we were getting quite hungry. We continued the conversation between the slices of pizza and the lasagne which were very tasty. After the food was all gone we borrowed the waitress, to take a few photos of us, trying to act sensibly.

We would have liked to have stayed longer, but sorry to say, that at about 9 o’clock in the evening, Alan and I had to make our way home. Due to the fact that we had to drive over 2 hours, to get back to our home town of Minden. We all said goodbye and the others went on to make the town insecure.

Shortly also Nadine had to leave. However, the other five still didn’t have enough for a long time yet, therefore, they went into a nice cocktail bar called 'Cubana'. Various cocktails were tested and had been approved for extremely. Our moneybag profited from the Happy Hour which was between 11 pm until 1 in the morning. After it was over, we all decided to call it a night.

All in all we can summarise that again the meeting was more than interesting. We are already quite anxious to know where the next one will get us and who will come because it’s always great to meet new and also old fans.
