TV broadcast of 'Hit me baby one more time', ITV1 UK

The first episode of 'Hit me baby one more time', ITV1 UK will be broadcast on 2nd April 2005, 5:45 p.m. UK time. Limahl will compete against Howard Jones, Tiffany, Gloria Gaynor and The Honeyz. Only one of them will qualify for the finale. The fans will learn the results of the votes in the same evening at 8:55 p.m. UK time. The fan club keeps, of course, all his available fingers!

The date for the broadcast of the German show 'Die Hit Giganten - Pop & Wave der 80er' is certain now: so make a mental note for Sunday, 3rd April 2005 because at 8:15 p.m German time Hugo Egon Balder presents another episode of the popular show at Sat 1 at which Limahl and 'Too shy' couldn't be missing. Again we have received some really fantastic news: Limahl will appear in a German show called 'Die Hit Giganten - Pop & Wave der 80er' and perform 'Too Shy'. This programme will be recorded on 5th March 2005 in the studios of Berlin Adlershof. Ticktets for this events are no longer available. Further information on the tv broadcast will soon. [more]

Everybody who took part at the Christmas chat with Limahl on 21st December 2004 remembers that there were a couple of technical problems and at the end even a server crash of a couple of minutes. This involved that the question of one fan - Evi - remained unanswered. However, we didn't stay inactive and asked this question again to Limahl at a later date.

Deutscher Limahl Fanclub: On behalf of Evi we would like to ask you the following question: 'Do you have a talisman and what kind is it? And i hope I see you next year, you´re GREAT! Your songs always make me happy, if I´m sad!'

Limahl: No, I don't have a Talisman as such. I believe luck is more about being well prepared and rehearsed then things should go better. I don't know if I believe in fate......it's the sixty four thousand dollar question, isn’t it? I'm glad my music makes you happy, that's better than making you sad right? ;--))

We hope that Evi likes this little addition and is now not that sad anymore about the course of the chat.

Happy new year! We hope that everybody had a good start so far.

As you can see, our website appears in a little new design. There is now an intro where you can choose between the English and German language. Furthermore, we have re-arranged the sub-menu and the discography was added. We hope you like these changes.

New live appearances of Limahl in Germany

For a short time, there is already the advance sale for spectacle in May. It's the 18. Radio NORA Oldie Nacht , an open air party which will take place on 14th May 2005 in the Kalkbergarena in Bad Segeberg, Germany. Limahl will be performing with his band. [more]

Another event on the horizon in summer. Limahl will be performing with his dancers in Zwickau/Planitz, Germany, on 9th July 2004. [more]

A Happy New Year to everybody! We hope you had a good start. Last year was a very successful year for Limahl. He had his comeback initiated by the 'Comeback Show' in Germany. A couple of live- and also tv-appearances followed ('Best of Formel Eins', Trippsdrill, 'Euregio Movie Award', the 'Here And Now Tour', etc.), AND a special highlight for us was the foundation of the German fan club in April. For 2005, we now wish for more of the same, or to let it be even better and fullfil Limahl's dearest dream: a record deal. In any case, we keep our fingers crossed for him!

The Christmas competition for all fan club members is now finished. Thank you very much for your participation. The announcement of the winners will follow soon.
